Pulp Valve

A pulp valve, also known as a knife gate valve, is a specialized type of valve designed specifically for handling slurries, powders, and viscous fluids in industries such as pulp and paper, mining, wastewater treatment, and bulk handling. The valve features a sharp-edged gate that moves perpendicular to the flow direction within the valve body, either opening fully to allow unobstructed flow or closing tightly to cut through and seal against the medium.

Pulp valves are constructed to withstand the abrasive nature of pulp and other challenging materials, typically using materials like stainless steel, cast iron, or other alloys that offer excellent corrosion resistance and durability.
